The 2011 IOGKF-USA Black Belt Gasshuku will take place from October 28 – 30 at the Sheraton Resort Hotel in Clearwater Beach, Florida. This annual event brings together the instructors and black belts of the IOGKF-USA and provides three days of intensive training, comeraderie, and fun. The location of the Sheraton directly on the waters of the Gulf of Mexico will allow you to make this into a family event and a great getaway.
All IOGKF instructors and black belts are invited to attend. This includes junior blackbelts over 13 years old, as well.
This is a required event for all USA instructors.

This Hotel has a 4300 Square Foot training room for the IOGKF, and is located directly on the sugar-sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. We will have at least one training session on the beach and will take our group photo there, as well.

- Exit the airport and follow the signs for Interstate 275 South.
- Merge onto I-275 and proceed west to State Route 688 / Exit 31.
- Follow SR688 to State Route 686 and proceed west approximately 8 miles.
- The road will deadend at Gulf Boulevard.
- Turn Right and proceed approximately 3 miles. The hotel is on the left.
From North
- Take Interstate 275 South and proceed west to State Route 688/Exit #31.
- Follow SR688 to State Route 686 and proceed west approximately 8 miles.
- The road will dead end at Gulf Boulevard.
- Turn Right and proceed approximately 3 miles. The hotel is on the left.
From South
- Take Interstate 275 North to Exit 30.
- Continue west on State Route 686 which will merge into State Route 688.
- Follow SR688 for approximately 12 miles until it dead ends on Indian Rocks Beach.
- Turn right (north) and proceed for 5 miles. The hotel is on the left.
